Members of the United States military can enroll for the Reserve Components National Security Course through their chain of command. A recommendation panel decides who attends based on the number of applicants. The program is tuition-free for attendees, as their units pay for attendance and travel costs. Colonel Sentell is currently assigned as a joint logistics officer with the United States Central Command, which is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
